I started my business in 2008 and for a number of years, I went without an official logo. Not because I hadn’t worked with a number of graphic designers; and not because they weren’t creative. No. It was because, what they presented—while nice—just didn’t feel right. All that changed when I met Kendra. She is warm, creative and did something none of the other designers did. She really listened. Even before she put pencil to paper, we talked. About my philosophy, my feeling, and my brand’s mission and purpose. She came to my shop and we talked some more.
Her approach is easy, yet thoughtful and patient. When I saw the finished product, I got emotional. I knew she heard me and understood what I wanted—even if I couldn’t properly articulate it.
